Provenance

Right Honorable Lord Dickinson, sold [through his sale, Sotheby’s, London, April 8, 1970, lot 27]; to Richard Zinser [1]. [Nicholas Stogden, London, 1997]. [2]. Robert M. Light, gift; to Harvard University Art Museums, 2000 Notes [1] At the sale, the album was purchased by “Reznis” which is likely a partial anagram of Zinser’s name. He is known to have been the owner of the volume at his death. [2] Stogden worked with the estate of Richard Zinser to sell material that the latter had retained until he died in 1984.
