Javier takes Delia, his pregnant wife, to his ranch in a remote village. Although she's surrounded with love and comfort, Delia has an uneasy feeling. One day, Javier goes out hunting and kills a deer, which to his horror turns out to be a man. Javier's servants toss the corpse over a canyon and tell him to forget the incident, but the dead man's ghost seeks out his mother, the local witch, and begs her to avenge his murder. The witch turns up at Javier´s ranch, and under a mysterious and unexpected shower of thunder and lightning, curses the family. Javier's wife shall bear twin daughters, one of which shall be a fearsome demoness. A day later, Delia goes into labor and gives birth to a healthy baby girl. Everybody feels calmer after the birth, yet a couple of hours later, Delia gets labor pains again. This time she's ripped apart by another baby girl. Delia bleeds to death, yet because the two girls look identical, both healthy and beautiful, it´s hard to know which one killed her mother. Several years later, the identical twins have very different personalities. Gilda is an independent doctor and a city dweller. Her twin Liliana is a frail invalid who resides in the ranch. However, one of them harbors inside the dreadful Chacala, which will soon materialize to wreak havoc among those around her.
Mirada de mujer is a Mexican telenovela, which was produced by and broadcast on TV Azteca in 1997, based in the Colombian telenovela of 1994 " Señora Isabel". It is considered one of the best Telenovelas in the history of the television industry in Mexico. It came a year after TV Azteca's first telenovela, Nada personal and was the first telenovela in that TV station for its five mayor stars, who had been working for the rival station, Televisa, prior to this production. In 2003 the sequel for this telenovela Mirada de mujer: El Regreso was produced. This telenovela can be dated so far as the only TV Azteca telenovela that got the TVyNovelas Award as Best Telenovela of the Year in a shocking moment, making Televisa know to the audience the respect that got over his competitor product as long as the TVyNovelas Awards are only given to Televisa programs. Aside from enjoying wide viewership in Latin America, it was also broadcast in countries like Afghanistan and Israel and Eastern Europe. In India, this was shown by Sahara TV, dubbed in Hindi, under the title of Maria.
La Carabina de Ambrosio was a variety television program broadcast between 1978 and 1987 presented as a Comic-Magical-Musical Show. It was produced by Humberto Navarro. It was hosted by figures such as Gualberto Castro, César Costa, Fito Girón and Manolo Muñoz. Some of the sketches of the broadcast were Guillo and the altar boy (Chabelo and the host in turn), La escuelita (Gualberto Castro, La pájara Peggy, Guillo, el Vulgarcito), the ventriloquist and Pujitos (César Costa and Chabelo), La Palabra Canta (Alejandro Suárez) and Mercado de Lágrimas (parody of Valle de Lágrimas and soap operas of the time) and parodies of the musical hits of the moment.
Segunda Oportunidad is a Mexican reality show produced by TV Azteca and Azteca América that reunites non-winning contestants from the first seven seasons of La Academia as well as La Academia USA and is hosted by Rafael Araneda, Betty Monroe and Miss Universe 2003 Amelia Vega. The 52 contestants, divided into teams of four members each, spend each week at an isolated location learning and developing their artistic skills, then compete against each other during a weekly concert for TV viewers and a live studio audience and face elimination. Producers stated the composition of each team on March 10, 2010. The 52 contestants will be living in Emilio "Indio" Fernandez's home. Only 2 contestants were not announced for the competition, but instead were left six hopeful contestants were placed on an online vote, where viewers needed to choose between Jolette, Azeneth, Anahí, Gerardo, Luis Armando, or Raúl Sandoval. On March 17, 2010, the voting was closed; Anahí and Gerardo were chosen. On April 25, 2010, Diana Galindo asked if she can take part in the program. She has been given the chance through an open vote by the public, where they will decide whether she joins the contest or not. On May 9, during concert 7, Diana became the 53rd contestant.
Infarto is a hidden camera show on Azteca 13 in Mexico and Azteca América in the United States. People appearing on the show have been subjected to pranks such as the victim believing that they will be sacrificed in a cult ritual or believing that they will be murdered by axe-wielding neighbors in the midst of a blackout. Because of the extreme and traumatizing nature of the show's content, the authenticity of the show is heavily debated. Sci-Fi Channel's original show, Scare Tactics is modeled after this concept.

Desafío de Estrellas is a Mexican musical show produced and distributed by TV Azteca, the second most important network in the country. The format of the Desafío is similar to American Idol with contestants eliminated every week and a grand finale with the top contestants competing to win the first place prize. TV Azteca has, until 2006, produced two versions of the program, one in 2003 and the other in 2006. The 2003 version consisted only of former contestants of La Academia, another TV Azteca-produced show which had already garnished two seasons and, in the process, taken away rating from Televisa, the prime network of the country. The 2006 version, on the other hand, consisted of both former contestants of La Academia, as well as other artists produced by TV Azteca in the middle and late 90s, later in 2009 a third season took place with former contestns of the six seasons of la academia.
