The Family is an Australian fly-on-the-wall documentary series that began airing 24 November 2011 on SBS One. It is the Australian version of the British series of the same name. The first series will follow the Cardamone family--father Angelo, mother Josephine, and sons David, Stefan, and Adrian--through their daily lives. They have allowed35 remote-controlled cameras to follow their every move, day and night, for three months.

Housos

Housos is an Australian comedy television series created by Paul Fenech for SBS, that screens on SBS One. The series is a satirical parody of low income Australian residents of fictional suburb Sunnyvale, who are living in Housing Commission public housing. On 1 November 2012, a film based on the series was released in Australian cinemas, titled Housos vs. Authority. On 9 September 2012 it was announced that Housos would return for a second series, which premiered 22 July 2013.

Go Back To Where You Came From

Go Back To Where You Came From is a Logie Award-winning Australian TV documentary series, produced by Cordell Jigsaw Productions and broadcast in 2011 and 2012 on SBS. The series followed two parties, each of six Australians, all members having differing opinions on Australia's asylum seeker debate, being taken on a journey in reverse to that which refugees have taken to reach Australia.

Tony Robinson Explores Australia

Tony Robinson of Time Team fame, takes us on a journey through time and places across Australia, offering a revealing and unique perspective on Australian society and history. In this 6 part series Tony introduces us to locations where deeds great and grotesque, heralded and hidden took place. There will be surprising stories of conflicts, hardship, notoriety and discovery as Tony brings fascinating new insights into the impact the British have had on Australian life. The series will roughly follow a chronology: from the earliest sightings of Terra Australis Incognita through to today. Each era will be defined by a theme (rather than equal blocks of time). Letters and Numbers

Letters and Numbers is an Australian game show on SBS One. It is hosted by Richard Morecroft, and co-hosted by David Astle and Lily Serna. It is based on the French format Des chiffres et des lettres while its structure is similar to the UK version of the show, Countdown. It began airing on 2 August 2010. On 22 June 2012 SBS announced on the official website its decision to "rest" the show, the final episode aired on 27 June 2012. The show has been replaced, at 6pm weeknights, by the UK series, Countdown.

Matthew Evans once trained as a chef before he crossed to the dark side of the industry and became a restaurant reviewer. After five years and 2,000 restaurant meals as the chief reviewer for the Sydney Morning Herald, he came to the slow realisation that chefs don’t have the best produce in the land, normal people who live close to the land do. So he moved to Tasmania, to a small patch of earth, where he’s raising pigs and sheep, milking a cow and waiting for his chickens to start laying.

The Squiz

The Squiz was an Australian television game show, with the questions emphasising on sports. It aired on SBS One on Saturday nights at 8.30 pm. It made its debut on 23 May 2009 and was It is hosted by comedian Anh Do. However, the show was cancelled after one thirteen-show season. The show consisted of two teams, one captained by Amelia Jane Hunter, and the other by Jordan Raskopoulos, both of whom are top comedians. Both have two guests in each team, mainly sports stars and up and coming comedians.
