When Niu Jun Yang is young, his mother remarried into the Ma's. However, he does not carry his stepfather's surname. His cousin, Ma Ru Yin is dissatisfied that an outsider, Jun Yang, can be a freeloader in the house. This is because after Ru Yin's grandfather passed away, Jun Yang's stepfather gets a noodles factory while her father only receives a small noodles stall. Ru Yin is upset that her grandfather did not divide his assets equally. Therefore, she always picks on Jun Yang.

Walk With Me

Wu Xiu Yu (Fann Wong) is a full-time Tai Tai whose only responsibility is to take care of her daughter, Joey (Ying Ying He). Xiu Yu is badly affected when her husband passed on, having been very dependent on him all this while. Joey, worried that her mother has depression, asks that Xiu Yu follow her to England. Xiu Yu leaves the house under her brother, Wei Kang's (Andie Chen) care; this would later result in him bringing two young tenants into the house to relieve his financial woes, without prior consent from his sister. Further on, Wei Kang takes in yet another two tenants, claiming it as a desperate measure. With their different personalities and nationalities, it proves to be a feat for all five young adults and Xiu Yu to live together. After going through life together, Xiu Yu and her 'kids' develop a strong bond. Little did they know that a storm is brewing.

On the 29th of February, Ye Zheng Fang (Thomas Ong) had a quarrel with his wife Shu Jun (Chuan-Chen Yeh), she died of a heart attack later in the evening. Their son, Zhi Xin (Aloysius Pang), blamed him for her death. Their daughter, Zhi Hui (Somaline Ang), fell into a coma on the same day after a traffic accident. A torn and battered Zheng Feng slipped into a defeated slumber, but a sharp crash jerked him awake, and he found himself repeating the day of 29th February - Unable to explain his situation, he tries to save his wife and daughter but to no avail as the day repeats itself. Soon, each member of the family gets trapped with him, repeating the same day over and over again. They start to enjoy the days without tomorrow, but soon realised that life is meaningless without progress. While everyone hopes for a better tomorrow, what will you do when tomorrow never ends?

Peace Photography Studio is an established but traditional studio founded 80 years ago and had 5 branches in its heyday. Now, there's only a single studio left and is managed by Pan Renyi and daughter Pan Zejia . Pan Zejia quietly helped out at the studio as she feels indebted to Pan Renyi who helped her settle a huge debt 10 years ago, and as a result, she remained single since then. Ke Yuanhang is a newspaper reporter who is kind and magnanimous, although 5 years younger than Pan Zejia, a friendship soon developed. After being betrayed by good friend Li Wei kills him out of anger. He goes on a cruise, with the thought of ending his life but meets Rui Ming who stops him. Rui Ming and Li Wei both look similarly alike and strikes a conversation. Rui Ming promises Li Wei he will help him on the debts. Just as Li Wei thought his luck has changed, the cruise meets with an accident and many people onboard perishes. Li Wei survives however Rui Ming doesn’t and many mistaken him to Rui Ming, the wealthy businessman. Li Wei decides to use Rui Ming’s identity, and soon begins his new life as Rui Ming.

Hero

The story starts in Dakota Crescent, an old estate which is going to be reclaimed by the authorities for redevelopment. The story centres around three protagonists living in Dakota Crescent, Zhou Fa Da, Ye Xiao Ying and Zhang Wei Xiong. Big Brother Fa Da, Wei Xiong and Xiao Ying are the three musketeers of the neighborhood, people often refer to them as "The Heroes". Within ten years, Wei Xiong has become a capable lawyer, Xiao Ying now has a wife. During these ten years, Big brother left Dakota Crescent without a word. Nobody knows of his whereabouts, not even Wei Xiong. This led the neighbours into making wild speculations about his disappearance. Some said he was involved in a kidnapping case, other said that he was in prison. Ten years later, Big brother is finally back. He still retains his strong sense of justice and is prone to impulsiveness, hence turning the neighborhood upside down. However, he refuses to reveal the reasons behind his disappearance.

Fire Up

Mistakes are part and parcel of life. Only when one realizes where his fault lies, is he deserving of a second chance. Those who were given a second chance are usually grateful and work harder. Take Zheng Mei Mei (Huang Biren) for example. After serving her jail term, she got to know Zhuang Ying Xiong (Thomas Ong) , a son of a wealthy man. And in a bid to win over his father’s trust, he invested into “Mei Mei’s Kitchen” for Mei Mei to run. With his backing and her hard work, the business took off. She also employed several ex-convicts to help out in the shop, giving them a second chance in life as they experience various setbacks that will test their limits.

The Gentlemen

The story revolves around three brothers who grew up in a male-dominant family and all inherited a chauvinistic streak from their father. Eldest brother Zhang Nai Ping aspires to be his own boss but he suffers many setbacks in his career and his marriage. His wife Zhou Hui Min cannot tolerate his chauvinism, they eventually divorced. In a twist of event, Nai Ping chanced upon a business opportunity in confinement food catering. Second brother Zhang Nai Liang suffers from ear disease which leads to migraine and had to give up his passion in ballet. He conducts ballet classes for children instead, but a parent accused him of behaving inappropriately towards her daughter - The youngest brother Zhang Nai Yi graduates from the arts school specializing in fashion design. However, his lack of social skills and introvert nature hinders his chances at job interviews.
