Harry is a single story, six-part crime drama series set in Auckland which follows the intense psychological journey of Detective Harry Anglesea.

The X Factor

The X Factor is a New Zealand television reality music competition, originating from the original UK series and based on the Australian The X Factor production format. The first series premiered on the TV3 channel on 21 April 2013, with regular Sunday and Monday screenings weekly. The show is open to anyone aged 14 and over, and the winner will be signed to Sony Music Entertainment New Zealand. The contestants are split into the show's four traditional categories: Boys, Girls, Over-25s and Groups. The first series is hosted by Dominic Bowden, with recording artists Daniel Bedingfield, Melanie Blatt, Ruby Frost and Stan Walker, as the show's four judges. In early 2013, a pre-audition tour of 27 towns and cities across New Zealand was held to find the contestants for the judges auditions. Successful contestants from the judges auditions then progressed to the bootcamp round filmed in March.

The Blue Rose

When office temp Jane discovers that Rose, the PA she is replacing, died under mysterious circumstances, she joins forces with Rose's best friend Linda to get justice for Rose. Along the way, they find others who need their help, victims of fraud, theft and injustice, and soon Jane, Linda - and a team of unlikely co-workers - are taking on the corporate bullies, fighting for justice and using their unique powers for good.

The Block NZ

The New Zealand version of the international hit renovation-reality series in which four couples compete to renovate four dilapidated houses in a very upmarket suburb – room by room, week by week, challenge by challenge – and sell them at auction for the highest price.

Big Angry Fish

PlaceMakers Big Angry Fish is a New Zealand fishing television show hosted by Milan Radonich. The programme began airing onwards from the end of April 2012, with thirteen episodes screening weekly on Sundays on TV3. A second season began at the end of July 2013.

Underbelly NZ: Land of the Long Green Cloud

Underbelly NZ: Land of the Long Green Cloud is a six-part New Zealand television mini-series. The series originally aired from 17 August 2011 to 21 September 2011. It was the first Underbelly series to be created outside of Australia, and depicts events prior to and concurrent with Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities.

Super City

Super City was a New Zealand television comedy series starring Madeleine Sami. Season one was directed by Taika Waititi while season two was directed by Oscar Kightley.

The Almighty Johnsons

The four Johnson brothers have inherited the powers of the Norse gods. Because the gods lived eons ago, however, time has diluted the powers. The unique ability that each brother possesses isn't very strong, and they still have the same desires and faults that mortals do. Their lives include sibling rivalry, trying to get girls, and hanging out; but they also want to be stronger, and so they embark on a quest to fulfill an ancient prophecy in hope of gaining the full strength of their abilities.

Bigger, Better, Faster, Stronger

'Bigger, Better, Faster, Stronger was a New Zealand science-based reality television series broadcast on TV3. Each episode saw the two hosts, James Coleman and Greg Page, work to produce a "new and improved" version of a household appliance or object. At the beginning of each episode, the hosts selected their team from a combined pool of five people, four of whom had skills that were of value to the project, and one of whom did not. They then spent the remainder of the day in a shed producing the new device, before holding competitive tests the following morning. The tests were adjudicated by Kirsten Pederson. Before the series aired, Coleman told news media that the episode in which he attempted to make a clothes drier from a lawnmower engine and an angle grinder was a near-disaster, as "The clothes ended up being distributed in specks of cotton around the laundry and the hooks flew off and embedded themselves around the set," but "Luckily, they didn't kill or blind anyone." The series was nominated for an Aotearoa Film & Television Award in 2011.

Wanna-Ben

WANNA-BEn is a comedy show, themed each week on a different celebrity and their achievements. The series is hosted by New Zealand entertainer Ben Boyce, former co-host of Pulp Sport. Ben Boyce is looking for a new job. However, rather than looking for a boring, everyday desk job, he looks for one that is cool and exciting, like a rock star, millionaire, or fashion icon. Ben is a Wanna Be.

Road Cops

Radiradirah

Radiradirah was a New Zealand comedy sketch show that originally aired from the 21 May to the 9 July 2010, with a total of 8 episodes. It featured several well known New Zealand comedians such as Rhys Darby, David Fane, Oscar Kightley and Madeleine Sami, as well as the voicing talents of internationally recognised comedian and music artist Jemaine Clement.

Sunrise

Sunrise was a New Zealand breakfast television news and current affairs show which was broadcast live on TV3. It aired from 7.00am to 9.00am weekdays, and the show featured all the latest current affairs, News, Sport, Business and Weather. The programme followed ASB Business at 6.30am. TV3 cancelled Sunrise including ASB Business on 8 April 2010, stating the show was financially unsustainable. A farewell was made by the presenters, at 7:00am on 9 April 2010.

MasterChef New Zealand

MasterChef New Zealand is a New Zealand competitive reality television cooking show based on the original British version of Masterchef. The first episode aired on 3 February 2010 at 7:30pm on TV ONE. The show currently features judges Ray McVinnie, Josh Emett and Simon Gault. The series is similar to the format of MasterChef Australia whereby contestants compete in weekly elimination challenges, including team challenges. The major difference is the New Zealand series only has one episode per week compared to Australia's five per week. The first series was won by Brett McGregor, over runner-up Kelly Young, in the grand finale which was screened on 28 April 2010. Nadia Lim won the second series, beating runner-up Jax Hamilton in the finale. The third series was won by Chelsea Winter, who beat runner-up Ana Schwarz in the finale.

7 Days

7 Days is a New Zealand comedy gameshow similar in some ways to the British program Mock the Week, hosted by Jeremy Corbett and created by The Down Low Concept. Paul Ego and Dai Henwood usually appear on each episode, along with other comedians, who form teams and answer questions about news stories from the last week.

New Zealand's Next Top Model

New Zealand's Next Top Model is a New Zealand reality television series in which a number of young women compete for the title of New Zealand's Next Top Model and the chance to start their career in the modeling industry. The show's format was originally created by American talk-show host and model Tyra Banks. The New Zealand series is hosted by former model and 62 Models Management founder Sara Tetro, and airs on TV3 NZ. The winner of NZNTM wins a modelling contract with Sara's agency. Like its American counterpart, NZNTM features a photographer and international model on its judging panel, Chris Sisarich and Colin Mathura-Jeffree, respectively. Mathura-Jeffree also acts as runway coach to the girls, much like Miss Jay on America's Next Top Model.

The Jaquie Brown Diaries

The Jaquie Brown Diaries is a satirical New Zealand sitcom in which real-life television personality Jaquie Brown plays a fictionalised, over-ambitious, status-obsessed version of herself. The series was created by Gerard Johnstone, Jaquie Brown and Hayley Cunningham and premiered 25 July 2008 on TV3. The US cable television channel Logo began broadcasting the series' episodes to date 12 June 2010.

Deal or No Deal in New Zealand is the New Zealand version of the international game show format.

Wa$ted!

Wa$ted! is a New Zealand reality television series which shows families their impact on the environment and helps them to become greener in their daily lives. The show has been acclaimed as the first show of its type. Even in production, they reduce their impact on the earth by using hybrid cars, crew carpooling, and reusing props. The series shown in 15 countries outside of New Zealand. The Wa$ted! in United States, Canada, Spain, Denmark, Portugal, and Malaysia also produced their own versions.
