The Caller

To escape her husband's domestic violence, Meng Jia unexpectedly answers a call from Ru Mei, a previous occupant of her new home. Initially, their shared curiosity about the time-traveling call and their mutual experiences as victims of domestic violence bring them closer. However, the relationship takes a dark turn when Ru Mei kills her abusive husband.
