5th century
Long, narrow frieze, decorated in relief, projects from surface in the manner of a torus. At center of torus, a vine is interwoven to form a figure-eight pattern. Stemming up and down from this central vine, single, deeply-drilled leaves and clusters of fruit alternate. Undecorated extension, approximately 10cm long, projects below frieze.
Unknown, formerly of the Kevorkian Collection. Said to be from Bawit.
Light gray earthenware with mold-impressed decoration. Reportedly from Kyŏngju, North Kyŏngsang province.
