“Occupying Wall Street, December 6, 2011” Fetzer. After the protest was officially evicted from Zuccotti Park on November 14th, the protest would occasionally choose a site within the five boroughs for a one-day demonstration to highlight an aspect of income inequality. On this day, the protest had come to East New York, a neighborhood in Brooklyn, to highlight property foreclosures. Fetzer had come to New York from Norfolk, Virginia to participate in the protest. He was a retired Navy officer where he had been a translator.
