“Occupying Wall Street, October 1, 2011” Mickey, a graduate of SUNY Purchase and at the time a recently unemployed graphic designer. This sign became the unofficial slogan for the Occupy protest. This was the original sign and was lost in the skirmish with police during the Brooklyn Bridge protest march that followed shortly after this photograph.
