Description

Painted plain weave cotton duck canvas fragment with knife cut edges and a white ground layer. Dark red paint is applied diagonally with respect to the canvas weave in two areas, with dry brush stroke margins between the two areas revealing the white ground layer beneath. Clear plastic tape is adhered to one edge.
