Description

Rim of mug with rib under rim (neck ring). Dark brown on brown slip. 2 groups of vertical // lines from neck ring to thick band at belly (5 on left, 4 on right). Neck ring and just below were painted, but are now faded. The interior is monochrome dark brown. Reddish core of buff fabric. Weathered, faded. Interior with some encrustation and large chip.
