Lord Privy Seal 1911-17. Special envoy to the Republic of France and the Courts of Spain and Portugal to announce the Accession of Edward VII. Married Hon. Cecilia Harbord (d. 6 October 1934), Lady of the Bedchamber to Queen Alexandria 1911-25. Lord Carrington succeeded 17 March 1868. Albert Edward, Prince of Wales (1841-1910) Captain Lane Fox Lady Royston. Edith Mary (d. 27 July 1930) younger daughter of Alexander Oswald of Auchencruive. Married to John Manners Yorke (d. 24 August 1928), Viscount Royston on 9 January 1869, who succeeded as 7th Earl of Hardwicke on 29 November 1904. Major Teesdale, CB. Married 16 January 1861 to George Godolphin Osborne (d. 23 December 1895), Marquess of Carmarthen 1852-1872. Succeeded as 9th Duke of Leeds 8 August 1872 Lt. Col. Keppel.
