NOTE: The provenance is from labels removed from the back of the frame now in the curatorial file. Mr. Oppenheim was the attorney for the estate of Victoria Dreyfus and contacted the Fogg Art Museum at the suggestion of Sothey Parke Bernet's Modern Painting Division since the authenticity of the drawing was in question.
