Late 7th - early 6th century BCE
The female figure wears a very simple belted tunic with short sleeves, slippers, and has a lage, lined wing on either side of her body that begins from the armpit and extends to the ground line where it would join the base of the vessel. Her hair is shoulder-length, and her arms are up at right angles to support the upper attachment point of the strut.
Henry W. Haynes, Boston, MA (by 1912), bequest; to the Department of the Classics, Harvard University (1912-1977), transfer; to the Fogg Museum.
