Rim Of Cup With Native Geometric Matt Painte, Black and Red Style

Description

Brown on buff rim sherd of cup with S-profile (Probably a spouted cup with side handles). Interior red monochrome slip. A thick band of band around the shoulder, with a zigzag below it. From shoulder to lip there are 5 // diagonal lines going towards the right. Since there is one diagonal line on the far left of the sherd, there were probably more // diagonal lines leaning to the left from the band at the shoulder to the lip. Much fine stone temper in fabric. Wheel-marks evident on interior (ridges). Weathered. Native Geometric Mattpainted Black and Red Style (MCyc. II-MCycIII).
