Circular on domed spreading foot chased with bands of gadrooning, with two cast scroll handles; the low domed cover applied with a cast gadrooned rim enclosing a similar broader chased band; with acorn finial rising from a chased calyx of gadrooning; the side and the cover engraved, probably in the nineteenth century, with a crest of a gate.
