Set inside a white marbled terrace is an amorous couple. The terrace features rolled-up orange curtains and intricately-carved panels. There is a ewer, a large pot, and a tray of food. The couple reclines on a daybed. The female figure is propped on a green cushion. She wears a translucent shawl with gold trim that covers her head and wraps around her body to her upper thigh. Her breasts are exposed and she wears bracelets, anklets, armlets, necklaces, a nose ring, earrings, and head ornaments. Her toes and fingers are dyed red with henna. The male figure, resting on a gold cushion, wears an earring, necklaces, bracelets, armlets, and an orange turban. Pahari Style, Kangra School.
