Northern black ware of Cizhou type: off-white stoneware with dark brown glaze, the interior with russet markings in iron oxide, the exterior with russet skin. Probably from the Cizhou kilns at Guantai, Cixian, Hebei province.

Yellow-green glass

White stoneware with pale celadon glaze over appliqué decoration

Yaozhou ware: light gray stoneware with celadon glaze over carved, incised, and combed decoration. From the Yaozhou kilns near Tongchuan, Shaanxi province.

Painted Jizhou ware: off-white stoneware with decoration painted in underglaze iron slip under clear glaze. From the kilns at Yonghe, Ji'an, Jiangxi province.

Cast bronze

Mottled dark green nephrite (so-called spinach-green jade)

Light gray stoneware with impressed and applique decoration; with localized areas of light blue on the surface, perhaps slip applied before firing

Kaya-type ware: gray stoneware with combed and openwork decoration and with considerable natural ash glaze. Reportedly recovered from the Tomb of the Generals in Yangji-ri, Hyŏnp'ung-myŏn, Talsŏng-gun, near Kyŏngju, North Kyŏngsang province in 1960.
