Quadriga l., driven by male charioteer holding long crop; above, Nike flying r. to crown the charioteer; in exergue, on stepped base, panoply, consisting of cuirass, shield, greaves and helmet; on the lower step, [ΑΘΛΑ]; border of fine dots. [Artist's signature on exergue line obliterated.] Rev.: [ΣΥΡΑΚΟΣΙΩΝ]; head of Arethusa l.; on the ampyx, KI; around, four dolphins; border of fine dots.
